Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small note a site leaves in your browser. Below is which notes nodesdaily.com leaves, and what each is for.
The site's own cookies
Your saved stories and reading preferences also live in your browser's local storage (nodesdaily:guest-collection, nodesdaily:reader). These are not cookies and are never sent to the server.
- nodesdaily_language — remembers the site language you chose, kept for a year. Without it, the language is guessed again on every visit.
- Session cookies — used only if you open an account and sign in; they remember that you are signed in. Signing out removes them.
Third-party cookies
- Google AdSense — serves and measures the advertising. You can turn off ad personalisation at google.com/my-ad-center.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — measures how many visits there are and where the traffic comes from. Without your permission it sets no cookie.
- Google Tag Manager — the container that manages measurement tags. It too starts in a denied mode.
- Microsoft Clarity — measures anonymously how pages are used; text you type is masked. It loads only if you allow it.
- Yandex Metrica — measures visits arriving from Yandex search and records how pages are used. It loads only if you allow it.
How to turn cookies off
Every browser has settings to block and delete cookies. If you block the site's own cookies you can still read the stories; only your language choice and sign-in session will not be remembered.
